Natalie Fischer | MS, LLPC

Specializations: Childhood Trauma, High-conflict Relationships, Anxiety, Depression, Self-identity/LGBTQIA+, Divorce, Stress/Adjustment, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Adolescence

Bio: Natalie’s passions for therapy lie in childhood traumatic experiences and how these take a physical toll on a person’s body, thoughts, and behaviors. Trauma can place heavy burden on the unconscious parts of our mind and manifest as physical sensations, certain thought patterns/habits, and self-fulfilling prophecies. In this way, Natalie believes it is important to call attention to the details of our lives that we often overlook or are so accustomed to that we are unaware of their influences. Natalie also explores how intersectionality of identities intertwine into a person’s process.

Natalie has experience working with adolescents and At-Risk Youth, as well as law psychology training specializing in divorce and high conflict relationships within a family.

Additionally, Natalie also identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and specializes in the care of gender and sexuality concerns. Natalie’s approach to therapy is eclectic in nature, drawing from client-centered, psychodynamic, DBT, CBT, and art therapy theories and techniques.
